Connecting your bank account
Updated over a month ago

Connecting Tola to your business bank account allows you to pay bills and receive payments on your behalf from and to your bank account.

You will be able to connect your business bank account by going to Settings - Bank accounts and will be able to log in to your business using Plaid to authorise payments.

Tola supports the majority of US banks today for instant connection, and you will be able to find and log in to your business bank account, safely authorizing access using Plaid.

Please note, that in some cases, bank connections might time out and you will need reconnect them, which we will inform you about on e-mail.

If you can not find your bank under Instant Connection, you are able to use micro deposits to connect your bank account.

Settings - Bank Accounts - Select a bank - Select an option "Verify with manual deposit"

This will send two small amounts to your bank account that you will need to insert in Tola, and this process might take a few days due to ACH waiting times.

If you are using manual deposits for payments in Tola, our compliance team will reach out to verify the ownership of the business bank account.

Tola does not support connecting personal bank accounts to process payments on behalf of your business.
