What is a Customer Portal?

Customer Portal is a feature in Tola, where your company can share your entire payment history in one place with your selected Contacts (suppliers, vendors or customers) on a specific shareable link.

This enables you to easier communicate the status of each bill or invoice by sharing the payment link with your specific vendor or customer, so they can understand when they will be receiving the payment, from who and to which account.

On top of that, vendors and customers are able to see the entire history of payments between your company. This allows them to have an overview or all open, outstanding or paid bills or invoices historically, making the business transacations more transparent and easier for reconciliation.

How to use the Customer Portal?

When you send a bill payment to your vendors, suppliers or contractors, they will receive an e-mail with the payment information details, along with a link from Tola to where they can track the payment status in real-time.

The same link will also store the entire history of bills or invoices sent between your company and your vendors, suppliers or contractors.

This allows you and your suppliers, vendors or customers to communicate and store all proof of payments, either sent or received, all in one place.

For example, your customers can easily see a statement of all outstanding or paid invoices, how much they owe, how much they paid and when the payments were initiated, making it easier them for execute outstanding payments and be on the same page.

Another example is also that your suppliers and vendors are able to have a proof of all payments being sent, along with delivery times and proof of historic payments, all in one place.

Where can I find the Customer Portal?


Every contact in Tola has a Customer Portal sharable link, that you can paste and share with your contact for them to gain access to the Customer Portal.

To provide them access to the Customer Portal:

  1. Go to Contacts and click on the contact you want to share the portal with

  2. In the Contact's profile, select Details in the top left corner

  3. Locate Links section at the bottom of the page

  4. Copy the Shareable link and provide the link to your contact
